Thumbnails for Home Videos. How to change?

Hello everyone,

As mentioned in a previous post, I have a number of MOV files that were made on my new DSLR. Serviio generated a weird thumbnail for the videos. Somehow, it thinks my videos are from some German movie called "Jungle Child" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1242543)? It has assigned this video thumbnail to every MOV file.

How can I change that and make a thumbnail based on the first video frame?

For Home Video you need to put them in their own share within Serviio (ie. their own folder structure, separate from any other 'commercial" movies, and include that folder as its own share in Serviio console, Library, Shared Folders tab).

For this share turn off "Retreive Descriptive Metadata". This will get rid of the weird thumbnails, but bear in mind that your Home Movies will only be available in Serviio listed under the "Folders" category.
