File Locks 1.8 / Windows 10
Hi there,
It seems that 1.8 under Windows 10 locks video files for several minutes or longer when it first detects them. For example, I will add a file to the library folder and then try to rename it. Windows throws the error:
"The action can't be completed because the file is open in ServiioService.exe"
This lasts at least 2 minutes before the lock is released. I have found other files where it takes 5 minutes or longer. All of this on files that are 50-60MB in size. I've tried stopping the server but I still get the same locking error.
The workaround being that I need to make the video file "final" before copying it to the library but I'm puzzled as to the amount of time it needs exclusive access to the file.
