Any way to prevent Windows going to sleep while serviio serv

This problem appears even when the server is streaming, that is in the middle of a movie I was watching!

I can understand streaming from a laptop is not a brilliant idea but Windows should somehow know something is running and streaming!
Even serviio should have a way to prevent Windows going to sleep!

Any way to fix this ?

thanks

There was a user here that offered a simple program to keep Windows awake. But it's not that difficult to go into the Power settings applet and disable sleep and hibernation. On Windows 10, you can find the settings in the main Settings applet, under System/Power and Sleep. I have all my computers set on Never while plugged in. Sometimes you might need to go into the Device Manager and disable your network adapter from sleeping as well.

I once installed a soft doing regular keystroke but didn't work on XP. I'd be happy to know what was that user's program.

I know about power management but I think it is already buggy (I mean the original Windows 10 one, or maybe my HP probook laptop ?) and not wanted to complicate each time I want to watch a movie. And I don't want to change permanently the sleep mode even when plugged in. Additionally you may know that in Windows 10 there is a second part of power management (Windows 7 style) which should be conforming to the Windows 10 one. Anyway, this has been too much complicated while a simple scheme would suffice.
That's why I wanted to "suspend" the actual power mode "while" watching movies.

thanks anyway

OK, I found the thread with the app I was thinking of: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=12136

But it hasn't been updated in four years. My guess is it would still work with Windows 10. The bigger question might be if it works with Serviio 2.x. It uses an API (library file) that might have been updated since the last time this program was updated.
