Panasonic GZ950 TV Not Displaying Music Or Photos Folders

In Serviio I have added a shared folder that contains nothing but photos. This is also a shared folder on my Win10 pc for my tablet.
I have also shared a music folder that contains just MP3's.
The folder list on my TV doesn't list either folder!
Also, if I add an image or mp3 music to an already viewed folder, so it now contains mixed content (and check the media box accordingly) I only get the video files listed.

I can't find any settings on my TV that might limit the display listing.
Is this something to do with Servio, the TV or both together?

Can you see if MediaBrowser is showing those folders, or if any other device/player shows them? trying to determine if it's a Serviio or TV issue.

I never use mediabrowser.
I set up an account but it appears to show nothing at all under folders!
The music and image folders and content don't show on my TV nor WDTVLIve box folder/file structure.

You mostly likely don't have the Pro version of Serviio, if you don't use MediaBrowser. But I suggested it as a way to determine if Serviio itself is seeing those folders and files, since it's all contained within the computer. Could you upload your Serviio log, so we can see if it's showing any errors?

Re: Panasonic GZ950 TV Not Displaying Music Or Photos Folder

I also tried the following:
Create three new test folders: 'Testi', 'Testm' and 'Testv'.
Add the same single image, single mp3 and single mkv to each folder.
Set each folder media type to only use either image, music or video accordingly.
The automatic update notice displays adding these folders and files.

Open TV in Serviio media mode.
Only folder 'Testv' is displayed and only the 'mkv' file is displayed.

Change all folder settings to media type 'audio', 'music' and 'video'.
All three folders are now displayed.
All three folders only display the 'mkv' file.

The log is for this current state.
As the 'serviio.log' file is 4.31Mb it is too large to upload. The maximum being 2Mb.
Please don't ask people to send files which are created by Serviio when the forum limits their use!

Re: Panasonic GZ950 TV Not Displaying Music Or Photos Folder

After stopping the server and clearing the log file.
I rebooted my pc.
I noticed the Serviio console listed a quantity of three images and music files.
It was then it dawned on me... as I normally only use Serviio for movies I hadn't enabled the display categories.
Once done I then had all the files displayed. Whoops!
(It would be nice to have a mixed media folder option though rather than having a separate folder for each media type.)

I sincerely apologise for wasting your time and thank you for your assistance.
