Nokia Stream Box - Installation Issues

Hello,

I have a Nokia Stream Box 8000, which runs on Android TV. I'm having trouble installing ServiiGo. I can't find the app in the app store,download mp3 and when I try to install the APK from a memory stick, I get a message stating that it is not compatible with this device. All other apps work fine on this box.

While I can use a workaround by casting from a tablet or phone since the Nokia box has built-in Chromecast, I would really like to install the app directly. Any thoughts?

Just because your box runs Android doesn't mean that all Android apps will run on it. I have several Nvidia Shield players, and they don't support ServiiGo either. I would guess that if you can find an APK file you might be able to side load it, but there's no certainty it would work.

You should really ask the ServiiGo developer (it does not come from Serviio) if it might work. Honestly, I have my doubt. You can find the ServiiGo support thread on the forum here. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5056
