Cannot fastforward on XBOX...

I have the latest full version of serviio and am trying to play files via XBOX.

I cannot fast forward, nor does the inbox indicate the total time or how much of the file I have played back.

Problem file type: mkv

Files that are OK: mp4

The only codec packs I have installed is SHARK007 (very latest version)
Windows 7 - 32bit

Can anyone offer any suggestions? Its incredibly frustrating not being able to FF a show!

MKV will transcode on XBox - I don't remember if it supports FFWD or not, but it might take some time to transcode enough of the file to transcode to the required position.

If you cannot FF a file then whats the point?

If I get interupted during playback and need to start again, there is no way of getting to the point that I was up to..

I purchased serviio because I wanted a decent playback experience - As it stands playing back files is useless.

Out of interest, does "Resume" work?

Same issue here, I'm not able to rewind / FF. I can't resume either.

It's never worked for the past year.

The XBox won't support it on transcoded files. It should work for avi/mp4/wmv files, but not, for example, mkv.
