Logitech Revue Profile/ Increase Cover Art Size

First off I'd love to know if direct play exists for this as I can't find the info. Anyway, here is all the logitec revue information:

Logitech Revue
AVI/DIVX - Video: MPEG4 ASP, XVid, DivX4/5/6; Audio: MP3, AC3, PCM.
MKV - Video: H.264; Audio: PCM, MP3, AAC (multichannel), AC3, Vorbis;
MP4/M4V - Video: H.264 (HiP 4.1), MPEG4 ASP; Audio: AAC, AC3;
MOV - Video: H.264(HiP 4.1); Audio: AAC, MP3;
3GPP - Video: H.263, H.264; Audio: AAC, MP3;
FLV - Video: H.263, H.264, VP6; Audio: MP3, AAC;
TS/MTS/MPEGTS/M2TS - Video: MPEG4 ASP, H.264(HiP 4.1), WMV9/VC-1; Audio: AAC, AC3, WMA;
WMV/ASF - Video: Windows Media Video 9 (WMV9), VC-1; Audio: WMA;

Logitech Revue notes and issues:
MPEG1 and MPEG2 are NOT supported.
DTS sound is NOT supported.
VOB is supported but only audio.
DivX3.11 is NOT supported.
WMV version lower then 9 is NOT supported. WTV is NOT supported.
MJPEG is not supported.
10-bit video (H.264 Hi10P) is NOT supported.
Zoom is not supported.

I believe this should be enough to create a profile. Also in that profile I'd love to increase the pixel size of the cover art to maybe 500x500 since currently the cover art that shows with the defualt dlna client is very low resolution.

Thank you for all your help in advance!

You have to create our own profile
1 : viewtopic.php?f=5&t=19 , or start with "Generic profile" and list all formats unsupported and create a transcoding profile with following settings :

I belive DLNA limits the resolution to 160x160 (which is why that resolution is used for MediaBrowser) so don't create a request as it cannot be done. I could be wrong though.

Re: Logitech Revue Profile/ Increase Cover Art Size

I was using Plex before and the cover art images were high res.

Also I'm not trying to learn all that stuff to create a profile. I'd love to help someone make one since there are lots of requests for one. I'll provide logs and test it, but don't want to create a whole one on my own.

Re: Logitech Revue Profile/ Increase Cover Art Size

Does Plex have its own app on your device? If so that is why it can supply high res versions as it won't be limited by DLNA requirements.

Need a first volunteer to start. Serviio is free, and profiles come frome community work.
I created the Sony profile from zero.

I don't get free time to create profile for each devices.
Is there any volunteer ?

Re: Logitech Revue Profile/ Increase Cover Art Size

Plex doesn't have its own app.

Specifically I am using GTVBox on my Logitec Revue and steaming from windows.

Im willing to throw some money someone's way if they can create a profile and get it working. I'll donate the profile to the community. I know from searching around there are a ton of Logitec Revue owners/google tv people looking for a media server that has a profile specifically for the logitec revue.

Re: Logitech Revue Profile/ Increase Cover Art Size

re the hi-res thumbnails - DLNA spec restricts them to 160x160 (sucks), so Serviio follows suit. It's possible some devices support higher res via DLNA. Serviio could theoretically store low and hi res thumbnails for each file you have, but that would increase library size extensively. In any case, it's not possible to change that now, let alone via a profile.
