Metadata for series corrupted?

Serviio is having trouble gathering metadata for all of my TV series, resulting in the Series folder missing episodes all over the place. I'm fairly sure the series listing were fine before updating to 1.0.1 of Serviio.

As an example, the Series folder displays Red Dwarf and within that folder it displays Season 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7. Five and six don't appear at all. Also, each season is also missing a number of episodes. For example, season 1 only shows "04. Waiting for God" and "06. Me2".

The files are named consistently (see below) so why does Serviio only display a few episodes? This is happening for all my TV series, not just Red Dwarf.

files are named as follows:

Red Dwarf
-> Red Dwarf 1
-> Red Dwarf.S01E01.The End.m2ts
-> Red Dwarf.S01E02.Future Echoes.m2ts
-> Red Dwarf.S01E03.Balance of Power.m2ts
-> Red Dwarf.S01E04.Waiting for God.m2ts
-> etc, etc, etc
-> Red Dwarf 2
-> Red Dwarf.S02E01.Kryten.m2ts
-> Red Dwarf.S02E02.Better Than Life.m2ts
-> etc

searson 3 - 7 are also named in a similar way. So, what gives? How do i fix it so it displays seasons and episodes again?

Metadata for series corrupted?

Once it happened to me, even if for just 2 or 3 episodes. I fixed it in this way: removed the episodes from scanned directory, forced a library refresh (checking the episode was removed from "Folders" folder), readded files and forced another library refresh. It worked fine for me. You can also check the logs after the second sync for any error or info on fetched metadata

Re: Metadata for series corrupted?

Hi
I have the same problem for several days. It has nothing to do with the version, a downgrade has brought no improvement.
I suspect the problem has to do with the fact that the site theTVDB has been moved to another provider.
Error 403 says only that the request was rejected from server without providing any reason at all, perhaps too many and too fast access?
(http://www.checkupdown.com/status/E403.html)
I think that the problem must be solved from a developer

Re: Metadata for series corrupted?

I did notice that the TVDB was giving me AJAX errors when searching, but it did eventually find the series that I was expecting.

Removing all the folders and re-building brought the series episodes back - so perhaps it was a combination of the TVDB site being moved and bad timing when I upgraded to 1.0.1.

Thanks for you help!
