Kworld M200

Hi, I have a Kworld M200 renderer which works fine with wildmediaserver, as well as Tversity, doesnt work with PlayOn, and doesnt work too well with PMS.. the problem I am having with serviio is that Serviio is attempting to transcode each and every video to an MP4 profile which my renderer doesnt recognise... It picks it up as an AMLogic, and chooses the generic dlna profile, but my renderer can do almost any of the formats natively... mkv, avi, etc, etc...

I have had a look at the proile xml file, but find it too complicated to try and figure out what the profile should be for my renderer....
I have definitely disabled the transcoding option in the console also...

Any help would be appreciated..

Thanks

Re: Kworld M200

if you have disabled the transcoding all videos should be streamed without transcoding. The generic profile does not transcode anything.

Can you post your serviio.log file.

Re: Kworld M200

It comes up on my renderer as the file name plus ".mp4" at the end.... so for some reason it is trying to transcode everything to this mp4 format...

The renderer attempts to play it, but just goes blank... the Kworld can play certain mp4 formats, I thnk apple ones.. but not much else..

Thanks

PS: I'll post my log file, once i get home..

its not possible to transcode to MP4, as above select the generic profile for your device and attempt to play a few files you can also provide sink infomation on your device that will help us work out what formats your device actual supports: http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=device_sf

Re: Kworld M200

Looks like the sink information didnt work properly, it only comes up as img-jpeg...
Just to let you know Tversity recognises it as a PS3 and that works fine with local videos..

Thanks
