8gb memory. No firewall, no AV software. It's a vanilla Windows7 Ultimate machine, but I've tried uninstalling and reinstallin JAVA. Same error with SERVIO v1.0.1 too.

It looks like the server has been started. Maybe it's just the console failing to start? Look at the .vmoptions files on serviio's bin folder, and try to remove or change the xmx parameter.
