Newbie question - regarding flow of stream across devices

Newbie question - regarding flow of stream across devices

Have mkv, mpg and mp4 video files on Time capsule which is my network router.

Have Samsung TV hardwired to Time capsule with gigabit connection.

Temporarily experimenting with serviio running on Macbook Pro connected to Time capsule via wireless n at 450 Mbps. {Later will install servio on a server hardwired to time capsule.)

When I stream a video to the Samsung TV from the Time capsule, is it going directly via the megabit connection (in which case what is the serviio server doing in that process, or does it go wirelessly to my Macbook pro, through serviio on that device, wirelessly back to the Time capsule and then through the hardwired gigabit connection to the TV?
