Updated to 1.1, bought Pro... Lost Add Renderer button

I have WiFi devices that I stream to. Until this update I had a button between Refresh and Remove to Add renderers.

Now it is gone. I cannot add my devices without the button. Where did it go? Can I have my old version back? I have no interest in grubbing around in xml files to be geek enough to set a bunch of properties I do not understand, have no wish to learn and did not need until the button disappeared.

So... what is the solution?

Does it not get added automatically when it is turned on? What device is it? We might be able to help with getting it to show up on its own.

That button was removed in 1.1 because it should never be needed, devices should show up on their own if they are DLAN capable. If you go back to Serviio 1.0.1 you you be able to add a device manually again and still use your Pro license, although you will miss out on some improvements.

My iPad and my iPhone 5. I have had to add them both. I downgraded to 1.0.1 to get the functionality back. While "it never should have been needed" might be the goal, it seems a bit retrograde to remove it on such an assumption. In truth it is quite handy and makes life very easy. I use 'AirPlay' to receive the serviio datastream. Perhaps that is part of the issue but either way, in the Console, my devices do not register (but if it helps, all three x-boxes, and three LG blu-ray players show just fine.

My usage is such that I actually only want to stream to my Apple devices (oh, and my Apple TV does not show either but that is just as well). I point the Serviio to personal data that is not appropriate for the rest of the house.

Does this help at all? I am fine with the older version but would prefer to stay abreast of the changes and bug fixes. I do NOT want to fiddle about with XML files, however.

The ADD functionality was only confusing users and should not be needed. Whenever a device makes a request to the server, it'll be added to the list. Adding it manually only ensured that it got the right profile straight away, so should not make any difference for you.

Can you see Serviio on the iPad with 1.1? Are they all on the same subnet?
