remote access domain adress prbolem

Hi I do not know if the problem is from serviio or dnsdynamic.org I created a domain name for my ip and entered the adress in serviio and everything works great untill i restart my pc, when I restart my pc the connection using the domain adress will fail I have to create a new domain every time, and if I use the IP adress it always works fine even after restart any help thanks

did you install their tool that will keep the IP in sync with their database?

I installed WinDNSdynamic and gave it the email password and the adress. I notest after the pc is on for a while it seams to work again. it seams that it takes about 30min to sync and sometimes it still does not get in sync I also tried there web client but same problem again

the problem is from serviio coz i removed the domain name and when I restart the pc i have to set serviio to forward the port again from the consol then it works fine till i restart again

serviio forwards the port via upnp.. maybe you should try setting a permanent forward up in your router config?

yes that did the trick I set the forwarding from my router and also set my router to log with dns dynamic to keep updating via the router and everything is great thank you for your help
