Onkyo device

Hello,
I possess an Onkyo TX 8050. It works well...when it works. the connection is uncertain. I configure correctly my local network but sometimes the ip adress is wrong and I have to switch off and switch on the onkyo several times to obtain the correct adress. And then it works. Anyone can give me help ?

Re: Onkyo device

Set a reserved IP address for your Onkyo device. This can be done two ways, either in the device itself or generally easier, by logging into your router and reserving the address to that device (you will usually find it under the LAN menu, but each router is different, read the manual I'm afraid). This will stop the IP address changing for this device.

I do this for all my media devices (all TVs, bluerays, etc plus my Serviio server).
