Xbox transcoded files won't FF/RW

Hi all,
I have read quite a few different topics on the problem of transcoded files not fast forwarding or rewinding on xbox 360 but none seem to have a fix for it.
Is this still the case or has someone come up with a fix??
I am running Serviio 1.5.1 on Ubuntu 14.10.
At present I have changed my xbox 360 profile to transcode all AVI files with mp3 audio as without it the playback just constantly stutters. However when I do this I lose fast forward/rewind functionality and also stopping files and being able to resume. Basically Xbox does not seem to be able to see the timecode. I wonder whether this may be something that making changes to ffmpeg may be able to solve???
Any information/help would be greatly appreciated,
Cheerz,
John.

Re: Xbox transcoded files won't FF/RW

Very few devices can FF/rewind a file that is being transcoded. To my understanding there's really nothing that can be done about it.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. It looks like its just going to be 'one of those things'!
