Humax Fox T2 and itv player

I am trying to get the ITV player working with Ubuntu 12.04

So far I have now successfully installed Serviio and can see it on the Humax plus the folders and the progs that I want to view.
However when I click on a programme there is a short message which says connecting and then it jumps back to the upper folder.
It kind of suggests that it cannot actually connect.

I have already had it working with an XP setup and copied the settings on the Serviio console. I am now trying to run it on a Dell Laptop and have just increased the ram by 512.

Would be grateful for any assistance but type slowly!!

what profile are you using for your device? also can you post detailed logs?

I afraid you've got me.......... I'm an linux/serviio newbie (but an old newbie!!)

Here is how you enable logging

profile selection is done via the Status tab of the serviio console, depending on what profile is selected.. this will determine the behavior of how serviio pushes media to the client. Find the Humax device in your profile list and see what it is currently using. You can try switching to various profiles to see if it makes a difference.

I'm sorry for delay but "life" gets in the way of things sometimes....

The profile is Generic DNLA Profile. This works if I run it on my windows XP setup.

The log file is rather long so I have attached it rather tha cut and paste.

I tried to open a programme to view and left it running for a while in case it was just slow loading and it eventually locked up the system.

search the forums for "humax" there is another profile that you can use that should work for these devices but I can't remember which one it is.

The only reference I could find stated that the default config was OK.
As I previously said it works on my XP set-up.
