Erratic Stuttering Behaviour
I had sorted my video files into separate folders so that ones that stutttered wouldn't be accessed until the problem was solved. All those movies that didn't stutter after 5 minutes play were stored in a separate folder. Up till now every one of those has played without problem - except for having to press escape on my PC periodically after it locks up.
I had to restore a full system backup after uninstalling Norton. I have replaced with Zone Alarm Pro and Avast Anti Virus.
With these off, I now have every one (20+) of my non-stuttering movies effectively unplayable due to stuttering!?
Anyone know why this should be?
They are a mix of TS, M2TS, MKV, VC1.
