Issue caused by Windows Server 2012
Hi,
i run serviio since more than 1y now and have good experience of it , i have a Bravia KDL32EX500 and it's working like a charm forever , i also use Servioo with my PS3.
i began with Synology DS411+ , W7 , Windows Server 2008 and now Windows Server 2012 , i notice a problem between Windows Server 2012 and my Bravia : after few minutes , Serviio keep recognize the Bravia with a new IP which does not exist (192.168.27.xx whereas my mask is 192.168.0.x) , the device name and profile is correct but it change the old profile to Generic DLNA with "unrecognized device" as device name , sometimes it remove this previous valid entry for the Bravia , same issue if i manually add the Bravia IP , note that i put Bravia in static instead of DHCP but no change , as a result my Bravia refuse to display any files or say that there is an error with the server
i tested 1.01 , 0.62 and 0.61 with Windows Server 2012 and each time it's failing , i never have this problem with the other OS and serviio 0.5.x / 0.6.x (i did not test serviio 1.01 with the other OS)
my conclusion is Windows Server 2012 seems to be the cause when combined with my Bravia as so far i did not see any problems with my PS3 and serviio 1.01 on Windows Server 2012.
for the moment , i am forced to revert back to Windows Server 2008 ;(
is anyone experienced similar problem ?
Cheers,
exté
