multicast service with serviio

i'm a new user and i don't know if this is the right place to post this question.

I would like to share with serviio a video file with two or more devices but in multicast mode.
Let me explain:
_ Share a video with serviio.
_ The first device begins to see videos shared.
_ After some time the second device begins to see the video, but the video should not start from the beginning, but rather from the point where came the the first device.

it's possible with serviio???

I would like to add something:

perhaps the multicast is possible by adding in Library/Online Sources (in the Serviio console) a live stream.....but I do not know what to put in Source URL.

HI, no it's not possible. The only possible way would be to have VLC stream the file as 'online stream' and then add this online stream to Serviio.
