Hulu movies stop playing after around 1 hour

Unfortunately, movies still stop playing after around 1 hr.

I have a lot of problems streaming things that need to be transcoded.
An hour of Hulu will easily create a temp file over a gigabyte in size for transcoding. I wonder if your temp file gets too large and something crashes? Is there enough free drive space? Does it stop playing when the temp file reaches the same size every time with different files? I think some of the Hulu files are just bad. I've seen some that will die in the exact same place every time. Some might be 50 minutes in and others might be 3 min. after starting.
I can never resume, skip forward or backward in a Hulu file. It will cause it to hang every time and it has to restart. All I can do is pause it.
I seem to have problems with anything that needs to be transcoded. Is your problem just Hulu or do other sources that need to be transcoded have the same problem? I could give you more details, but this is already getting off topic for this thread. I've been trying to figure this out for about 10 months now.

Pretty much all of the Hulu shows/episodes play fine. Trouble is while playing movies. They all stop playing around the 1 hour mark.
I checked my PC logs and no errors seen. Plenty of free space. The OS is Win7-64bit.
As suggested by jctoad, I checked my Serviio temp folder and found a few previous stf files, size ranging from 150MB to 1.5GB. Deleted them and selected another Hulu movie to watch on my Sony BDP-S370 player. The movie, stopped playing after 1:05:xx Hrs. The "stf" file was around 400MB. Tried a couple of other movies. The stf file size were in the range of 350-425 MB.

Next, modified the "log4j.xml" and restarted Serviio in debug mode.

Attached is an extract from the log. The Sony BDP is at 192.168.1.9 and Serviio runs on 192.168.1.3

One of the log entry is -
[ResourceDeliveryProcessor] Stream entity has length: 50000000000
I wonder if that's why the movies stop playing at around 1 hour.

If you rename the .stf file to .mpg and play it in VLC, does it include the whole video or only 1 hour?

I have similar problem with online streaming on Sony BDP (US) after about 50 minutes. And when streaming stops it appears ffmpeg is still running so I cannot resume the same video. if i start another one, then i can start play of original one BUT the problem is that FF is not working properly. player shows time changing but serviio either

1. resume play from some random earlier point not related to time on player
2. not resuming play after FF at all

any solution or how to troubleshot this?
