JPG metadata extraction / Photoshop

Dear all,

when adding a JPG modified within Photoshop Elements I get:

2014-06-01 16:22:43,356 DEBUG [LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread] Found file 'IMG_0582-test.JPG', checking if it's already in the Library
2014-06-01 16:22:43,356 DEBUG [MediaItemDAOImpl] Checking if DB already contains media item /local/shares/public/Fotos/2014_04_12/IMG_0582-test.JPG
2014-06-01 16:22:43,356 DEBUG [MediaItemDAOImpl] Looking up a media item for file path: /local/shares/public/Fotos/2014_04_12/IMG_0582-test.JPG, ignore case: false
2014-06-01 16:22:43,357 DEBUG [MediaItemDAOImpl] Media item /local/shares/public/Fotos/2014_04_12/IMG_0582-test.JPG doesn't exist in DB yet
2014-06-01 16:22:43,357 DEBUG [ImageExtractionStrategy] Extracting metadata of image file: IMG_0582-test.JPG
2014-06-01 16:22:43,362 WARN [LibraryManager] Cannot read metadata of file /local/shares/public/Fotos/2014_04_12/IMG_0582-test.JPG via extractor EMBEDDED. Message: Cannot read file IMG_0582-test.JPG for metadata extraction: Invalid Image Resource Block Signature

and the JPG isn't added to the library :(

[root@barney log]# java -version
java version "1.7.0_55"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (rhel-2.4.7.1.el6_5-x86_64 u55-b13)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode)

Any clue what could be wrong? The JPG displays correctly with any viewer ...

Re: JPG metadata extraction / Photoshop

The library Serviio uses doesn't like the file for some reason. it might be something they already know about and will fix in the future.
