Buffering Transcoding

Are there any changes I can make to a devices XML settings that would allow for buffering or extending the existing buffering before it starts to stream a file being transcoded?

No I don't belive so, data is sent to the client as soon/fast as possibile, its up to the client to decide how much it should buffer before starting playback. What do you need this for?
