AVI's Show Up as MP4 and Nothing Plays
I'm using an HP Pavilion G7 AMD A6 2.7 GHZ processor, 500gb of memory, 4gb of ram and trying to send movies to a Vizio Smart TV. The DLNA server pulls up on the TV and I can find all of my movies, however most are AVI files and the TV is recognizing them as MP4. Some would work on my windows server, but others wouldn't which is why I went with serviio, however none of them work on Serviio as they are not MP4 files. I would really like to get it to work as I like the way serviio is set up on the TV and the fact I can sort them by Title/Genre etc.. I had the transcoding set to ON and turned it OFF with the same results. Any info you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks.
