Samsung B with no sound on .mts files

Hi all

Can you help me on this?
What can I do to have sound when I want to see .mts files with sound?
I already try several config but nothing, What option can I use or what command can i use in the profile.xml file to solve the problem?

This file seems good. It should be delivered in native format. Could you confirm this ? (enable detailed logging and check the serviio.log file)

I made the change in the log config to DEBUG but i only get this info.


To restart the serviio service I only need to stop/Start it on the console or I need to restart the CPU on Windows?

Any help on this please?

To enable debugging mode you need to either restart your PC, or restart the Windows service (in Windows, start services.msc and the stop and start the Serviio Service). Stop/Starting it on the console won't do it.

....or you can use my Winhelper tool (viewtopic.php?f=17&t=12136) which includes some quick access tools to set debug mode, stop and start the service, and other niceties.....

I'll leave it with Illico, but I think he needs a log file showing you playing the file Noite.mts

But i put all info that it is on the log after playing the file.

I see that you used a different file this time 'Natal de 2013.mts' (I searched the log for 'Noite.mts'). This is delivered in native format (ie. no transcoding).

It suggests that your TV doesn't like something in the AC3 stream within the file. You may need to transcode it (change your profile to transcode AC3 audio), or you could see if remuxing the file helps. Illico has much more knowledge on Sony systems than I, so he may come up with other ideas.

How many files are we talking about?

Firstly try remuxing the file, either using my WinHelper tool mentioned previously or by running the command (from a command line -you will also need to reference your ffmpeg location, usually "C:\Program Files\Serviio\lib\ffmpeg.exe"):

ffmpeg -i "file name.mts" -map 0 - c copy "file name remux.mts"

This will simply copy the existing audio and video into a new package - will test if the container was corrupt.

If that doesn't work re-transcode the audio (to AC3):

ffmpeg -i "original file name.mts" -map 0 - vcodec copy -acodec ac3 -ab 192k "file name ac3.mts"

and if that doesn't work try transcoding audio to another format (and in this case, to stereo):

ffmpeg -i "original file name.mts" -map 0 - vcodec copy -acodec mp2 -ac 2 -ab 192k "file name mp2.mts"

Take note of any errors or warnings.

If i understand i need to make that command to all .mts files that i want to play?
Can i do or put any command on the serviio so the program do that automatic during the stream?
Because i have many files in .mts from my video camera .
