Roku 3 and WTV files

Is anyone able to play WTV files (Windows Media Center recorded content) on Roku 3? I'm ruing the stock Roku profile and I don't get any sound. If I use Plex, I get sound without any issues. All my other devices/profiles play these files without any issues via Serviio (Panasonic 2013 and Playstation3). Any thoughts?

WTV files require transcoding, which the Roku profile correctly performs. All of my WTV files contain AC3 audio, and play just fine. I don't think there's anything different from your Roku 3 and my 2 XS players in this regard.

What are the audio output settings on your Roku? Is it set to stereo, or surround? Just thinking out loud here.

Have you altered the WTV files at all (other than the file name), or are they exactly how the computer recorded them?

Serviio is configured to downmix to stereo. Roku 3 is set to stereo too and connected via HDMI to the TV. I tried different Roku setting and different TVs. Other files play fine. Standard def WTV files also play fine. It's only the HD recorded content giving me the problem.
Here is the WTV file info (taken from VLC player):
• Stream 0 Type Audio
Codec: A52 Audio (aka AC3) (a52 )
Language English
Channels: Stereo
Sample rate 48000 Hz
Bitrate 192 kb/s
• Stream 1 Type Video
Codec: MPEG-2 Video (mp2v)
Resolution: 1920x1088
Display resolution: 1920x1080
Frame rate 29.970029
Decoded format Planar 4:2:0 YUV
