Transcoding to AC3 Question

Discovered Serviio today, one more happy user, greap app

I have a question, and i've used the search / read the documentation and i can't find the answer

I have a Samsung B Series, which reads pretty much all video formats and does digital passthrought AC3 5.1 to my receiver, which is great.

Problem is with the other 5.1 formats, like the DTS and TrueHD. This is where serviio comes to the rescue with it's transcoding features.

Ok, so the question: All the videos (including DTS and TrueHD) works with serviio and the TV. But the receiver only gets audio with 2 channels, even on the original AC3 5.1 files.
Shouldn't the transcoding configuration which has targetACodec="ac3" provide the 6 channels from the original file ? What am i missing ?

In fact if device renderer doesn't support other formats, like DTS and TrueHD, Serviio will transcode into a AC3 stream.

Do you check "Downmix to stereo" or "Keep original" into the Transcoding serviio console tab?

I also have an idea for my Sony Bravia TV, is it possible to bluff the TV to provide DTS and TrueHD with LPCM or DolbyDigital mime-type and configure the TV to passtrough stream to the AVR decoder?

Ups ! How stupid of me.. it was on the "Video Settings" section so i missed it!

Managed to transcode to AC3 with original channels, thanks !
But only worked for DTS audio. How about TrueHD, not possible ?

[Update] - Ok, i've searched the forum and i can see truehd support is still pending. Gonna have to wait for it. Thanks
