Re: Ipad Subtitles

Does the player support subtitles over UPnP/DLNA? You should ask them, if they do we could try make it happen.

In which form does it support subtitles? As it's not in the DLNA standard.

When i use PS3 Media Server i can see subtitles on BuzzPlayer (Ipad), but when i use Serviio i can´t see subtitles on Ipad (BuzzPlayer), the video file and .srt file is the same.

I prefer use the serviio because works better on my low CPU and RAM server.

What is the profile i need put on IPAD (Generic DLNA ? )

Thanks

Re: Ipad Subtitles

I assume PS3MS encodes the subtitles into the video stream, which Serviio doesn't do. Otherwise try Panasonic or WDTV profiles that have subtitles support for their custom solutions.

Re: Ipad Subtitles

I wonder if the method for playing subtitles on iPad (Buzz Player) has been found. I'm facing the same problem.

Tried Panasonic and WDTV profiles but no luck. Normally Buzz will play .srt subtitles if he sees them in the same directory (and named the same) as the movie.
