Transcoding Issue w/ Samsung B-Series
It seems like Samsung will only support MP3 formats for DNLA. Is there yet a fix for the transcoding issue for the Samsung B-Series TV within Serviio?
I am having the same issue as a lot of people. When using another media server I was actually able to see the files but got an error message "format not supported". When using Serviio I can't see the files at all. These files are AAC, AVI, MPEG/4 formats.
Attached is my debug log.
I am trying to connect my macbook to my UN55B8000 LED. In the future I will be implementing a NAS for the network. But it seems like I would have the same problem with that device if I used it for media playback on the TV.
Please advise. I am in the trial period and would like to know if I should purchase the full version. I have turned transcoding on and selected B-Series TV.
