suddenly media server gone
Been using Serviio for years now, always worked perfectly and had not a single issue.
I changed literally NOTHING on my setup - in the morning it worked fine - went to work - came back home and game over.
I have a Samsung UE55D7000, a Linksys E2000 Router and using a Macbook Pro as Server.
My WLAN network is secured with WPA2
I tried to restore the TV settings, which did not help. Also checked in my Router Settings if anything has changed, but nothing that popped my eye.
The TV has full connection to my Router (at least as far as I know of) But I am able to use smart TV - youtube, Internet, etc. all works fine. It just does not find my serviio server any more.
Also in the Serviio console I don't see the TV.
Same issue on the iphone with this samsung Smart View App (you know this remote control) That also worked "fine" - shitty app, but it worked, until now. Suddenly it says it cannot find my TV.
I thought maybe it's some router issue, but why should that change intraday without me touching anything? There was no new firmware released or anything else updated. So I am really out of options.
Any help is highly appreciated.
edit: after checking some other posts here I activated the Multicast option in my routers settings. I do see the TV and my Denon Audio System again in the serviio console. However I still don't see the media server on my samsung. Entering via smart function to videos it says nothing connected.
