Samsung D550 Dont Playing Video Stream

Hi, I new in serviio and DNLA world in general, and I have a problem trying to play a stream in my Samsung D-Series TV.
I use serviio 0.6.2 and I added various Streams from this excellent post made by jhb50 (thanks!)
The streams what don't play are from HD_Channels rss and all are from tv.futubox.com.and the error what my TV display is: Video Coded Not Supported
The streams are ON, I checked with my WDTV Live (thru serviio) and work OK.

apparently the video codec is h264 what my Samsung D supports, so what is the problem?
Thanks in advance!

I'm facing the same problem since many HD links were changed to futubox. My TV is a D550 too.
I checked some profiles without success.

I too am in a similar dilema, I had all of the feeds from the first post working perfectly 10 days ago and as of a few days ago all I get is the "codec" issue, D5500 as well.
As I am new to the forum I will watch to see what remedies there may be but it is a frustrating issue, great product I have plenty of information to soak up and will try to determine what the issue is.

All the folders were updated on Apr 29/30 to use rtsp because the rtmp links no longer worked. It appears that they work again, but I think the rtsp links should still work on all TV's.

There must be a problem with the profile for your TV. I note that the generic profile does transcode rtsp to mpeg2 in an mpeg container but my Samsung C-D Profile has its own online transcoding section and does not. Perhaps your TV is using the generic profile, or a profile without its own online transcoding section which will cause the generic online transcoding section rules to be used.

I tried with both generic and c/d profiles (restarting the serviio service each time to be sure) without success.
I double checked it was actually using the right profile by looking in the log file as below.

This is obviously an issue with the feed that changed a few days ago, it cannot be the tv as we are all experiencing the same problem at the same time.
Hopefully we can have the feeds restored to where they were as the change has probably crippled all users with this Samsung TV.

I believe that with the help of serviio experts we might be able to have the right online_transcoding under the samsung c/d profile. We probably are going to have more rtsp with MPEG_PS_NTSC / MPEG_PS_PAL in the future and I would like to have it fixed in the profile rather than avoiding such links.

All the folders have had their rtsp links reverted to the original rtmp, so it should fix the problem for everyone.

Just to note, my Samsung D with the C-D profile plays RTSP correctly. For those who want to test or fix their profile for rtsp, the PBS station under TV Neworks is an rtsp link.

So I've got a D6530 and I find that both the rtsp and rtmp streams are getting transcoded. it pushes my CPU to it's limits, I'm running on a mid 2010 macbook pro so not ancient.

should it be transcoding these types of streams? ffmpeg is detecting them as

I thought my TV would play h264 straight off?

also, I find that the sky sports HD in the Sports HD RSS folder is almost unplayable but this one is nearly fine - rtsp://tv.futubox.com:1935/live/z050226.stream

My speed tests show I'm capable of streaming 15mbps. I've tried having my laptop connected to my router via a wired gigabit connection and the tv connected to one of the 100mb connections, again, wired. I still get glitches in the video even at it's very best on the rtsp://tv.futubox.com:1935/live/z050226.stream stream but as I say, the stream in the folder is unwatchable. any ideas why? any pointers? I've switched on detailed debugging in serviio and I can't see anything in there that would suggest a problem.

Just realized that I have a 550 as well (Samsung PN64D550) and my rtsp folders played without problems..Most confusing since I believe my profile is the stock version.

My profile for 0.6.2 is attached, so you can compare with yours and I have setup a LiveFeeds_HD_ChannelsRTSP.rss containing the rtsp links that do not work for you so you can test it.

It would be nice to find out why yours do not work and fix it. Let me know if I can help.

PS: I have also updated this profile as shown in the post below to better address flv files. Both play the rtsp.

This is not really the thread with info for you, but I'll point out as in other threads, all online streams must be remuxed to mpeg-ts, and there is another thread where I suggested a profile change so H264.flv will not get transcoded to mpeg2video. If your cpu is one core it won't hack it, 2 cores marginally depending on the video. The rtsp you quote is the same stream that has been in the folder since Apr 29 but the folder was reverted to rtmp today. I don't know what folder version you were using but you can run ffmpeg on the rtmp stream and you will see it is identical to the rtsp stream

are you saying the transcoding needs a min of 2CPUs? it's a dual core i5.

Best answer is to show you my latest samsung c-d profile now.
1) local h264.flv is played natively because the rule for it was removed
2) local and online vp6,flv and h263.flv are transcoded to mpeg2video per the rules I moded/added
3) online h264.flv is remuxed to mpeg-ts per the rule I added.

I5 processors have 4 cpus(cores) so you have plenty of power but be sure to turn them on in the serviio console under transcoding.

should have said - it's a macbook pro with an i5-m so it's only dual core with hyperthreading. i noticed that serviio transcodes the online streams whether I've enabled transcoding or not.

Also, it runs super hot and noisy as all cores are running at about 80%.

I copied the profile and restarted the serviio service but still no luck. Maybe not all D550 are the same after all. Mine is LA37D550.
Maybe the following debug section can help.

Can you also tell me which ffmpeg version do you use?
