ok, take two. I read a few other threads and transcoding was mentioned. So i unticked transcoding and now it all works. Zipster i can confirm this as this time i made sure i disabled ALLSHARE and then un-installed it so i wouldn't make the same embarrassing mistake.
So turn off transcoding , restart serviio and then turn on the tv I can confirm that doing this fixed the problem. Thanks Zipp

This in conjunction to what Zip said regarding deleting those lines is a fix. Been going for a couple of days without dramas. Can we rename this post with a fixed on the end ?
