Samsung HT/E3550 "file not supported"

Hi there,

Just at my parents house setting up Serviio.

It is a Samsung Blueray player HT-3550.

It is able to see the server and list the video but when I click on the video it says file not supported.

I have attached the serviio log to this post.

TIA for any help that you can provide :D

Re: Samsung HT/E3550 "file not supported"

Hi,

Thanks Zip for the insight. I downloaded the new ffmpeg like you said and replaced it on tthe server. It is 21MB instead of 11MB. Still no dice.

I tried my ipad 3 using air player and it works fine (even on generic mode, which leads me to believe that it is something to do with the profile?

I have forced transcoding when necessary...but not sure where to look after that....

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/faq/FAQ00047282/51099

The website isn't that current, but relatively accurate for the issue at hand.

If you convert it to a different format I would be willing to bet it would play.
