FF/rewind

As I am a complete newbie and this is the only serious forum I found :) I will try to ask here.

I having problems with FF/rewind when I stream from a hard disk a) connected to the router wired to TV via cable TV box or b) serviio. So FF and rewind do not work but pause/resume do work.

Is it a solvable problem for either a) or b)?

I tried to connect the hard disk to the TV directly and played the same files. FF/rewind work perfectly in this case so it is not the issue of file formats

And my TV is UE46D5000

Re: FF/rewind

My bad. At least on serviio fast forward etc. work. I was pressing the wrong buttons on the remote control. which was not obvious since to rewind one has to press navigation buttons rather than control buttons.
