FF REW stopped working with new versions

I have a Samsung UE40ES6540, I use the Samsung E/F Series profile, and with Transcoding disabled I could play all the media I need, and have FF and REW and general time seach options available in version 1.4

However since the updates, and I am not sure exactly which one 'broke' it, this has stopped working.

Also, I have downgraded back to 1.4 and it is still not working.

Any ideas anyone?

Ive run one of the MKV's which was known working through the utils in the stickys, which made no difference at all.

I installed Samsung Link the new version of allshare, which is a truely nasty piece of software, but it DOES allow FF / REW jump arrows to work with my media.

Id love to know whats gone wrong with serviio for me, I suspect I will be doing a removal and reinstall with a variety of versions to see if that helps.

Ok, been playing.

Tv is a Samsung UE40ES6450

Ive gone back to 1.3.1
Using profile Samsung TV / player (C/D/E/F-Series)
With Transcoding off, I have search facilities
When I enable transcoding I loose it again. (no problem, expected behavior)


Version 1.4
Using profile Samsung TV / player (C/D-Series)
Whichever Transcoding setting I use, I have no search

Using profile Samsung TV / player (E/F-Series)
Whichever Transcoding setting I use, I have no search

Now, Why its working again, I have no idea, as all the setting are back EXACTLY as they were when the issue first arose, why 1.4 wouldnt give me search I have no idea.
As long as they stay back, Im happy
