raw images not working

Hi,

I have been looking forward to serviio handling raw images but it does not seem to be working for me - I get the thumbnails but when I select a pic to view it says the file is not supported. I have a UE46ES8000 smart tv.

I have switched on debugging (file attached) and it seems to run dcraw ok but fails with an i/o error.

Do you have any suggestions?

Same here on my LE32D550, thumbnails display correct.

The file is transcoded using JPEG_LRG

However, the TV's standard suggests it only handles JPEG_MED and JPEG_SM.

Could this be the problem? And if so how do you change this setting?

my tv and blu-ray http://certification.dlna.org/certs/REG13435082.pdf and http://certification.dlna.org/certs/REG08136087.pdf support JPEG_LRG but also don't display canon raw files
so may be problem in something else

Can you confirm if it works with PS3 Media Server?

I don't have a PS3 player so can't confirm.

I've tried the android app serviigo and that works a treat so it's definitely something to do with the tv and how it handles the converted file.

the question was about ps3 media server http://www.ps3mediaserver.org/ you can setup it yourself and try.

folders with cr2/crw files empty and I don't see much options to configure related to images file format or anything similar.

OK, so I downloaded v1.7 that didn't work - it is broken wrt to RAW images. So I downloaded 1.6 and got it to work.

I have attached the debug.log file if that helps...

I wanted to do this, but if you're free it'd help:

1) Install PMS, share a foled with a single RAW image
2) run Wireshark and filter traffic between the TV/Player and the PC
3) browse to the image in PMS and display it
4) save the captured packets

Then do the same with Serviio.

I'll have to compare the HTTP headers and protocol differences between these two.

(pms was set up without thumbnails and serviio show thumbnail)
