UE40ES7000 + Fedora 10 : .flv & .webm

I've connected my Samsung UE40ES7000 with an old Fedora 10 computer which has movies, music and pictures.
The movies are:
.avi
.vob (DVD as complete dir in VIDEO_TS)
.mkv
.flv
.webm

I was able to play the first 4, but couldn't get the .webm shown on my tv (not even in the listing).
But the next day I can't play the .flv either.
I get a message that the file is not recognized at the moment.

I tried some settings I already found at the forum, but they didn't help either.

Got any hints?

Re: UE40ES7000 + Fedora 10 : .flv & .webm

I tried that, but the file didn't show after that either.

Is there a way to see which files are indexed and are being indexed?

Re: UE40ES7000 + Fedora 10 : .flv & .webm

First, your FFmpeg is super old. You will have to upgrade it.

Second, you have to pass the file path to the ffmpeg -i command, see here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1123

Re: UE40ES7000 + Fedora 10 : .flv & .webm

is this the webm file? If yes, rename it to .mpg (it is actually just mpegts/h264/dts file) and it should play
