Don't know, I could not test that, its only for 2011/2012 and I have a 2010 model. Any tester ?

I can test 2011. You might need to ask in the 2012 thread for that year testers...

Having the DAR attribute set to 16:9 distorts all of my 4:3 content, so I removed that attribute from the entry. Now it looks correct. Here is what I am now using (which is working for all of my media):

Edit: Just noticed the "extends sony2011" bit which is why the audio section isnt needed. DAR issue still stands..

Just tried the profile code and audio comes across great but the video is studdering. Literally going back a frame about every 5 frames. Any thoughts? I am running a KDL-46EX723.

Have you tried playing back the transcoded file natively on a PC?

yes it plays back just fine on two PC's, two PS3's and a wdtv live.

Could you enable detailed logging and check the ffmpeg command line used to transcode tis file ?

I´ve attched a log file (it was very big, so I have deleted something, but I think, the main items were left).

There are only online resources (what is the plugin used?), do you try with local AVC media ?

I have a 40NX723 and I lost audio in all online resources with the new client (tried v.1.0 and 1.0.1).
Video files saved on my PC play correctly.
Can you help me?

EDIT : Changed back to version 0.6.2 and got the audio back.

and got audio back.
0.6.2 has no playlist support

I have a some mp4:avc/aac files. I guess this is the no longer transcode AAC change in the 1.x series that causes the problem?

I've been using Serviio on my Sony Bravia TV KDL-32CX520. I have coded some movies into both MPEG-4 & AVI formats.

Now sometimes videos will play fine and sometimes they wont. For example I was just watching a video on my TV which is streaming via my router using Serviio and 25 minutes into the video it freezes and I can't rewind or fast forward.

Serviio has automatically selected the Sony Bravia 2011 model in the profile.

Also sometimes after a few days I can't get serviio to show up on my tv, even though the console is showing that the server is running.

Are there any special settings or anything that I need to set?

Frist, can you post a detailed log file from serviio?

Is this both avi and mp4 media types? Any others have issues?

What is your network like? WLAN, wired, speed, etc?

Do you have enough free temp space on the server?

If you are in the US, I wouldnt recommend the AVI container, as the TV does not support it natively. MP4 would be better. Also, if in the US, manually select the Sony Bravia 2011 (US) profile in the console.

For issues with serviio not being seen, it could be quite a few things. I think it is recomended to have both the server and the clients to have IP's that don't change. You can either use a static IP for each, or a DHCP reservation. Also, don't let the server machine go to sleep or hibernate.

I'd like to suggest backing out the AAC audio changes from the 2011-us profile.

I get about a 60% success rate for playing back AAC with the new profile. Backing out the AAC part allows me to have 100% working. Not sure what the issue is, a cursory look with media info doesnt seem to show many differences between what plays, and what doesnt.

How did you get this to work? I am having the same issue but I copied the profiles from 0.62 to the 1.01 folder and then Serviio will not load up (it gives that error message Serviio seems to be running....exciting crap).
