Been "Twatted" by the "Dratted" Java 7 update!

After updating to current Java on my PC, I find it impossible to re-start Serviio.
I have attempted:-
E:/Serviio>Bin>ServiioServices.exe
...Brief flash of command prompt window.
I then try:-
E:/Serviio>Bin>ServiioConsole.exe
After a while, a sneaky window with no taskbar presence can be found lurking behind other windows declaring that Serviio doesn't appear to be working, so it's going home!.....and taking it's ball!

How on earth do I coax Serviio into life after Java updates?
