[SOLVED] Sony 4k xbr-55x900a TV & Serviio DLNA profile

Hi Guys

I have recently purchased a sony xbr-55x900a. Unfortunately Serviio DLNA server does not get detected by this Sony TV. I have tried supplied profiles with no luck. This is not a networking issue as i can ping TV ip address from serviio server. Sony XBR TV has no issues detecting other dlna server on network- seagate Network attached storage running DLNA server- Seagate central. I quite like serviio and would like to use it with XBR TV. Any help is most appreciated. Many Thanks

Is the TV detected in the console? If yes, make sure it's enabled.

Re: Sony 4k xbr-55x900a TV & Serviio DLNA profile

The TV is detected in console and is green. I have no access restrictions setup. All devices are allowed access.
PS- If it helps- I have a sony bluray player which does detect serviio fine and works a treat. This blu ray player is on same serviio server as above and settings are identical to that of TV except that profile is for specific bluray model.
With new TV, I have tried beta sony 2013 bravia TV profile (available in this forum's other sections) with no luck. Many Thanks for your help.

They are on same subnet. I am professionally an experienced networking specialist and network is a non issue here. I can ping TV etc and everything is hard wired via cat6 cabling so its not a flaking wireless signal either.
