Sony 50W656A

Thanks for this great product - Im new here

I have a Sony 50W656a and installed Serviio on my PC - I plan to stream mkv using homeplugs.

Just a few questions:-

a. How do you know the quality the stream is streaming on the TV is?
b. The MKVs are in dd5.1 - will the audio output be in dd5.1
c. If the network is very good will the quality be just as good as connecting hard drive via USB?
d. Not Sony related but maybe can help - How do you stream videos on another PC?
e. If the harddrive goes into sleep mode will it activate it?

Do you try first with direct connection between your PC and Sony TV ?

Then with homeplugs in futur, only network bandwidth should be deteriorated (depending of device capabilities), so if you stream high quality video (mkv HD h264 > 4.2 profile) you should have some stuttering.

Yeah I did but I really would like an answer to all my questions please so I can work out what is happening
