Re: jpg photo problem

post the information on the files. they might be too big for the DLNA standards and might need to be transcoded.

Re: jpg photo problem

Can you run ffmpeg -i on the JPEG file from the command prompt. FFmpeg is in Serviio's lib folder. Perhaps the JPEG is progressive encoded or something.

Re: jpg photo problem

We need to verify some information about your JPEG file.
So could you provide (see my previous link) the "ffmpeg -i" result of your file ?
Or post me "private message" with your JPEG file in attachment

Re: jpg photo problem

This is not a JPEG photo, this is a video stream (motionJPEG).
To see this file (VIDEO), you need to select the proper section (VIDEO) into Sony XMB menu.
To see photos, you need to select the proper section (PHOTO) into Sony XMB menu.

Yes, normal, this "pic" is not a picture but a movie (mjpeg mean MOTION jpeg) so must be open from the VIDEO folder menu in the Sony XMB menu. Could you check this?
Menu>Video>My Folder>My Picture>

One the FAQ section of this topic you can read that:
FAQ
- Make sure you are browsing the proper section of the Sony XMB (press Home then left several times).
The Serviio audio, image and video folders will all show up in each category due to how DLNA servers work - it's just the Sony that insists on having a menu for each category.
