H 264 Stalling and stuttering on Sony Bravia KDL-32EX723

Hi Guys

I'm terribly sorry if this has been answered anywhere before but I'm having trouble viewing H 264 mkv files on the Sony (it plays x263 great though)

It's running off a wired connection and it's a Mac pro with 8GB Ram and 2x2.66 GHz cores.

Is this just a 'machine can't handle the transcoding' issue or something quite common that can be fixed?

Again, apologies, I don't really understand the majority of the working of this 'dark art' ;)

Cheers

Could you try to "pause" wait some minutes (wait of temp transcoding file ended), then "resume" and check if video stuttered?

Ok, I gave it a go, but it still did exaclty the same thing.

Has to be a profile problem right?

Or like I said, the server isn't fast enough to transcode and transmit? (wired network BTW)

Even though the TV and terminal are Wired?

Anyhows, I tried to run that SSID tool before I realised it's windows only ;)
