Cannot Access Server

I have a Sony Blu Ray Player BDP S590. And a Macbook pro with Snow Leopard. Yesterday I had Serviio working correctly and was able to access files on the server (Macbook) using my TV/DVD. Today, from the TV, all I am getting is a message that says: "The server is currently starting up. Please wait. Setup may take a few minutes." But after a minute or so it says "Cannot start server". The Blu Ray appears in the device list in servio and the server says that it is running.

Help!

Re: Cannot Access Server

Well, it is kind of embarrassing but I solved the problem. If my Mac is asleep then the DVD player won't connect to it. Seems obvious in retrospect. Anyway, I just have to make sure my Mac is awake before I connect and all is well.

Re: Cannot Access Server

I am running an old Athlon 64 as a media server 24/7 running linux. This way I do not have to worry about my laptop being asleep and can hit the media browser while traveling.
