I have a QNAP NAS, to copy the groovy file you need to use a program called WinSCP
And copy all your groovy file to this location /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Serviio/plugins/

That make sense! Thank you very much!

Serviio does not retrieve more than 25 videos from Youtube although I select "unlimited" as the number of feeds to be retrieved, does anybody know how to fix this?

Re: YouTube

Hi guys, is it possible to play TV show playlist that start with EL, 4oD and Demand5 are putting their shows on YouTube
The original 4oD have started uploading the new show in a new codec which Serviio doesnt support yet
I know that Youtube 4oD videos work as this URL plays fine in Serviio (maybe UK Only)
https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/4oDHomes/uploads

If i convert this url to the playlist api feed it doesnt have any value
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=ELrg99sKkoMMw
to
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/playlists/ELrg99sKkoMMw

Re: YouTube

Hi all. Is there any way to perhaps tweak the URL so I only retrieve full length videos? I've set up Recent Movies & Comedies and a) I only get 20 titles, even though I set the console for unlimited, and b) almost all videos listed a short clips of 2 minutes or less.

I don't want a clip, I want the whole thing! If it's me doing something wrong, feel free to correct me! ;)

Re: YouTube

You can go to this page use parameters and customize your search..... https://developers.google.com/youtube/2 ... -resultssp

Here is an example for only one program under a channel...
https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/use ... results=50

channel Name is "geonews"
Program name is "apas ki baat"
Max results are 50 ---> can not be more than 50

I hope it will help...

Re: YouTube

Hi,
first, Serviio and this plugin are wonderful. I am using them since months and it worked perfectly. Last week i formated my hard drive and switched from Windows 7 to Ubuntu Linux 12.10. I followed the wiki to install Serviio, the console is working, my Samsung TV detects serviio... However, the Youtube videos cannot be read, i've got the message "Format de fichier inconnu", which merely means "Unknown file format" in french. When I try to read those videos with my PS3, it announces a network error. Have you any ideas to help me ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: YouTube

I assume you have an old FFMpeg, or one without librtmp support. If you have still problems raise it in the Support forums.

Re: YouTube

I have this URL http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL15DEB75AE4AB6AAF
When I use this feed http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play ... 5AE4AB6AAF it is OK.

But if I have this URL http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... e=view_all
and use this feed http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play ... HlKnpwhJyp it is wrong.

I must remove PL from original ID, but in second example is original ID longer. How can I get this second URL to Serviio.

PS: kdyby šlo nakopnout trochu česky, uvítal bych to, díky ;)

Re: YouTube

Hi I'm having problems with the youtube plugin. I'm using this URL for example: http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/user ... results=50. No videos appear in the folder on my Samsung blu-ray player and the log file has a lot of entries like this one:

Re: YouTube

Hi I'm also having some problems with the Youtube plugin. I have Serviio installed on Synology NAS and music and loval videos works perfectly. When I have added the online souces with proper RSS-atom. Using my LG Home Cinema (BH6520TN) I can see only you tube video, there is no sound! Using Playstation 3 there is nothing. I have tried to play with changing the profile but it didn't help. Maybe I should play with profiles xml file and add some online transcoding info but I have no idea which ones :P Turning on / off transcodig also didn't help.

I would like to use my LG to play it (the one I have only video, no sound) so the problem with PS3 is not so important. Thanks :)
