Can you post your serviio log? It is under the serviio install folder under the log folder.

Re: I've been trying to sync my Toshiba TV with my PC

you can either stop serviio and delete the current log and then restart the log or you can zip the log and post it and someone will look at the whole log. What we need to see is not in the area that you posted. It is spread out in the log. it talkes about render and shows IP addresses.

Have you read the FAQ and made sure your ports was open?

You run the following command from the command line and it will show the computers open ports.

netstat -an |find /i "listening"

At the bottom of the "post a reply" screen is a tab that says "upload attachment"

or if it small enough you can cut and paste it in the reply.

Re: I've been trying to sync my Toshiba TV with my PC

What is the IP address of your TV? Serviio is not seeing any render. Make sure that your TV network is configured correctly. Also make sure that your ports are opened as mentioned in the FAQ.

  Code:
My device doesn't see Serviio

This could be caused by you having multiple IP addresses on the machine and Serviio binding to a wrong one. Insert IP address of the machine running Serviio into 'Bound IP address' field in Network Settings section in the console or pass system variable serviio.boundAddr including the IP address when starting the server.

Also make sure that TCP port 8895 and UDP 1900 are open in your firewall.

If you are on a Linux based OS, make sure you set up multicast routes properly.

If on Windows, you can push Serviio service down in starting order.

You can check and see if your ports are open by using the following command in a command window.

  Code:
ports. netstat -an |find /i "listening"
