Re: PS4 Browser Compatibility

yes, I have done some testing with my console, I was able to play some movies format. mkv.
Do not operate the buttons on the video window, "play" - "pause" - "full screen" - "Next" - "back", the only way to start the movie, is to start them all by clicking on "Play all "if you try too many times to press play, mediabrowser not responding to any commands, you must close the browser and reopen it.
I made a video of my test, I'm loading up on youtube, in about 60 minutes I will link to this topic.
Sorry for my bad English, I'm using the google translator :)

Re: PS4 Browser Compatibility

Thanks - looks like the control bar on PS4 is the problem, I cannot controll that. Unless it just doesn't work for transcoded content (live stream in the eyes on the PS4).

Can you try to set delivery quality on the Remote tab ot Best / Original and then play a mp4/h264/aac file, if you have one? That should play it without transcoding and as a usual HTML5 video.

Re: PS4 Browser Compatibility

I think this must be an issue with flowplayer rather than Serviio. If this is the case there is not alot that can be done I don't think.

Atleast, it is now working on the wii devices

Re: PS4 Browser Compatibility

Hi. Just to add to the conversation. I have tested that demo page with the browser on the Panasonic E6, and the video won't load. However, I can open links to .m3u8 streaming TV files on this TV's web browser. Some play just fine. Some play but without sound though. The browser currently scores 333/555 on html5test.com, but I see no login box for the mediabrowser - just a black screen. I thought this was interesting, but the built-in DLNA player works just fine with Serviio. :D
Using Serviio on Debian "Wheezy" with Xbox 360, Sony BDP-S370 & Panasonic E6.

Re: PS4 Browser Compatibility

Hi, there are no news?
I continued to test Serviio via the web browser of PS4, even after the latest system updates, but nothing has changed.
I tried a competitor media server via the browser of PS4, and this seems to work very well, but I want to continue to use Serviio also on my ps4 :(
I also tested Serviio on xboxone via DLNA by Media Player (beta), and it works great !
