java is hungry with my ram!!

Hi all, I just reinstall my ubuntu server with 14.04 and I have noticed an issue with serviio. (in fact is java) On certain video java use almost all my ram! more than 5gb of ram with no transcoding! it is normal? The video hang etc... with some other video everything are okay.





Any advice for this behavior?

You mean I have enough ram?


Why some video lag and other not? They have the same quality!

Could be realted to:

- network lag
- transcoding performance
- encoding of the video (bitrate, other video characteristics)
