Newbie here need help

I have installed serviio on my laptop all went fine. I start my Sammy 7000 55inch Tv my Tv picks up Serviio no problem. I typed in a link for music worked no problem. I downloaded Grovey to the serviio plugin folder but when I check my serviio on my laptop or my tv I see nothing in any of the folders. What am I doing wrong?

I also tried to copy and paste links to the online folder from the links in the links section but It wont let me copy and paste. Also is there a way I can download big file so i DONT have to type all the links in the online folder when I get this working. I have looked high and low but can't find anything here to help me. Can someone point me in the right direction or a howto vidio?? Thanks.

Which plugin (.groovy file) are you trying to use.

You should be able to paste links into the console by press CTRL + V

As for adding the links, we are working on that with http://www.serviidb.com/ so far you can use my android app to search and add content from it, in the future there will be a way to add the content directly from your computer either directly in the serviio console, or using a standable app/web app. So far it is mostly UK links, so we need other users to add more content.

I am using the most recent one. Or is there a special one I should use?? I downloaded a zip file and I to it to unzip it in the plugin folder.

I am totally at a loss.. now i am getting failed to access the device. Please check the device and try again on my Tv everytime I start serviio in allshare Also under Videos and pictures I get after the first error msg I get There is no video file currently available.

Do you mean you downloaded the pack with all of the plugins in? I ment are you trying to use say 4oD or Hulu etc...

Can you turn on detailed logging (see my sig), restart the service (start -> serviio -> stop serviio service (or something named like that), then start serviio service), and then browse serviio using your device and once you have seen all the errors, post the log.

I was able to get to where the file is to change to debug but it wont let me change value to debug!! How do I change this??

Could you stop the service, delete the current log files, start the service, wait a few min, then use serviio on your tv so that you get the errors, then post the log in code tags, and if it is too big, zip it up and add it as an attachment.

Thanks all, for some reason its working I have no idea why, but all I did was uninstall and reinstalled but all is good. Can someone provide a link to where I can download lots of feeds without having to type them all in manual and in which folder they go in.
