Transcode everything for PS3

Hi everyone, i'm very new to this transcode feature, i have a ps3 and a samsung series6 (UE46ES6900) smart TV, i would like to ask if there is a way to let serviio transcode everything for PS3, i mean, if i have something that doesn't works on my samsung i will turn on my ps3 and use that to watch without having to became mad understanding where the problem is, if is a bad codec setting, a bad audio codec, a bad container setting.. etc..

So basically:
Samsung = no transcode
PS3 = transcode all

also with that kind of setting is it possible to retain the source resolution and audio codec/channels ? i mean if i have a stereo mp3 as audio source it will be transcoded as stereo signal while if i have an ac3/DTS it will be transcoded as a 5.1 audio signal, and if i have a 1080p video it will be a 1080p or if is a 576p it will be a 576p retaining the same fps too, and interlace, etc...

is there a common universal transocde setting for ps3 that will do that kind of job?
thanks.

Honestly till now with the samsung i have problems only with mov files made with my camera, here's the file format:

maybe that's because baseline 5.0 profile ?
i've tried also remux them as mkv with no success

ps3 is much less ocmpatible than the samsung instead, the above file doesn't works on both devices...
my transcode option is ON, but the Serviio profile for samsung is "Samsung TV Player C/D Series" while on PS3 is "playstation 3", i will do more tests in the meantime, just realized my samsung is an E series so i have to change the profile.
