How reduce bandwidth when transcoding

Hello,

I send video to my TV Sony Bravia KDL 40EX710 using Serviio. The profile is Sony Bravia TV (2010)
But when video is h264 1080p, on fast moving scene, it stuttering and after a some time TV reboot !
At this moment the bandwith is maximum ~ 20000 kbps
I try to put maxVBitrate=10000 and 5000 to reduce bandwitth in the profile Sony Bravia TV (2010) but witout result.
Mesured bandwidth stay at same level.

What's wrong ?

Re: How reduce bandwidth when transcoding

Is the file being transcoded to mpeg2? Are you wired or over WiFi?

This is on all matching files not just one? And firmware is updated?

Re: How reduce bandwidth when transcoding

Hello NX3

And many thanks for your help

Yes Tv uses wired connexion and TV firmware is up to date.
It's a matroska H264, file that should be converted to mpeg2 because my tv is only compatible with that format.
You can see down there the ffmep output.
I monitor network output bandwidth and cpu directly on my Synology NAS.

Hope this help !

Re: How reduce bandwidth when transcoding

I had a 2010 Sony, you could flood the set and cause it to reboot. I never worked out the bandwidth / cpu limit as I inherited a 2011 set which didn't have this problem.
